Originally from the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, I began photography at a fairly young age of about 14 years old and been hooked ever since. After earning a BFA in Photography from Northern Illinois University in 1999, I spent the past 30 years photographing Chicagoland -- from the Maxwell Street Flea Market on Chicago's South Side to many small towns in the South and the Midwest.. My travels have taken me across the pond to my parents' home country of Serbia, where I have continued my photographic explorations and learned more about myself in the process.
